"For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack" - Kipling

In The Begining

In 1996 Helix was Pacific Computer Solutions, a small computer store doing mostly retail sales and service. A 2 man, one woman show at that time. We worked like dogs, 80 hour weeks were commonplace and we worked primarily from our cell phones. I will never forget my cell phone bill was over $1000.00 just for my phone alone. Jim Meidl was my right hand man at that time, he worked hard and never complained. He will always hold a very special place in my heart. Rest in peace Jim, you are missed.

The Growing Years

Focusing on problem solving for our customers, we were soon immersed in outsourcing vendors to help with solutions. Time and time again the communication and work ethic of our outsource help lead to us handling the issues internally. This added to our arsenal of skills that has put us at the forefront of technology. Changing our name to Helix represents the ever evolving skill set of our company and has become not only our name but a promise to our customers to continue our commitment never being static or complacent.

Where We Are Going

We will continue to provide world class service and support to our current and new customers. Challenging ourselves to find better and more cost effective ways to give our customers a competitive advantage. We have had as many as 20 employees and as few as 2, we have found that our sweet spot is around 7-10. Keeping us small and personalized where every member of the pack knows every customer. This way our customers get the very best service possible.

What You Should Know

We work our asses off and have fun doing it. If you can't take a joke or lock us in your office for the weekend then we are not the IT company for you. We have tattoos and earrings, ride motorcycles, and don’t' cover up or change for anyone. We are very good at what we do, proud of who we are and take every network we support very personally. We will ALWAYS have your best interest in mind and if we are "too expensive" then that’s OK .. you get what you pay for .. value is more important than cost.
